Бронзовую привесную печать, изготовление которой можно отнести к периоду XV – первой половины XVIII веков, обнаружили в процессе археологических наблюдений на Берсеневской набережной Москвы в феврале, говорится в материалах департамента культурного наследия Москвы.
«Привесная печать размером 19х20 мм (ушко для привешивания обломано) и весом 2,79 грамма изготовлена, по данным рентгено-флуоресцентного неразрушающего анализа, из оловянистой бронзы. Одна сторона печати – гладкая, лишенная следов каких-либо изображений. На другой стороне в круговом ободке помещена уверенно читаемая негативная надпись в 4 строки: «Печать вытегорского кабака». В последней строке – два орнаментальных элемента в виде растительных побегов», — отмечается в пресс-релизе.
В нем добавляется, что на подобных печатях обычно располагаются имена владельцев либо надписи дидактического характера («печать – на умного крепость», «не бойся смерти, бойся греха» и другое). Находка 2017 года аналогов не имеет – на ней указана принадлежность печати не конкретному лицу, а совершенно определенной организации.
